   1V02 - Birmingham New Street to Cardiff Central

   This service is one left relatively unaffected by the COVID-19 reduced timetable, this service is continuing to be booked via Bordesley Jn & Worcester Shrub Hill. You won't be able to run via Bordesley Jn due to a planned closure but you will continue to run via Worcester Shrub Hill as booked. Due to the reduced demand, XC have only given you a 2 coach Class 170 rather than the normal 3 carriage Class 170, though there won't be the typical CrossCountry overcrowded experience. You'll be calling at Ashchurch for Tewkesbury (06:30), Cheltenham Spa (06:40), Gloucester (06:51), Lydney (07:10), Chepstow (07:20), Caldicot (07:28), Severn Tunnel Junction (07:31), Newport (07:44) & Cardiff Central (08:00).

   2B69 - Cardiff Central to Swansea

   Chronic stock shortages across the TfW network result in strange substitutions. Take this Class 142, in place of the booked Class 150 from Cardiff Central to Swansea, calling at all stations along the way. There is little traffic on the line despite the time due to the cancellations, so it should be a fine drive. You will be calling at Pontyclun, Llanharan, Pencoed, Bridgend, Pyle, Port Talbot Parkway, Baglan, Briton Ferry, Neath, Skewen, Llansamlet and Swansea. You will need to drive well, as the Sprinter timings are hard to achieve in a Pacer!

   6H25 - Margam Terminal Complex to Llanwern Exchange Sidings

   During it's temporary return from France, take 66191 on a heavy load of steel coils and ingots from the yard at Margam to Llanwern Steelworks. Don't be fooled by the train's length, your loco will be pushed to it's limits hauling the train up the steep South Wales hills; make sure you don't come to a stand! Total duration: 110 minutes. Year: 2009.
