Owing to a shortage of units, for a short time FNW hired a set of 31s & Mk2s to cover, originally on workings between Chester & Blackpool South before moving to peak-time Blackpool North services. You'll be taking the set on the morning run from Blackpool North as far as Preston, calling at all stations bar Salwick. Year: 2004.
